What cryptocurrency websites should I be checking regularly? I get asked this question quite a lot. The answer however is not that simple.
As always it depends on what information you’re looking and how deep you want to go. The spectrum varies quite a lot.
For this article I’ll assume the questioner wants sites that will allow the to keep their ear to the ground. Sites that will give them an overview of what’s going on in the space as well as price updates.
Price Tracking Sites
This is almost everyone’s go to site for up to date price and market cap data for majority of the coins out there. It’s very useful for doing your initial research on any coin. It’s great for checking the price, exchange info, trading volume and much more.
This is an alternative to coin market cap. It has more metrics and sorting filters for you to choose from. One example is being able to filter for Git Hub comments. Many use this see how active a project is.
This category of cryptocurrency website is for finding out the latest developments in the space. I usually use this for my fundamental analysis of of the crypto space as a whole.
As cryptocurrency websites go this and coindesk are amongst the best. Both have regular updates and are very thorough in their research.
Okay. Now just bare with me. Many old school crypto guys may be looking at this screen thinking we need to DDOS attack this guy. Please don’t. If you’re new to the crypto space you may not know that there are rifts between certain groups within the crypto space. I will not elaborate on this for now but just know that it exists.
Putting that aside no one can deny this site is good for general crypto news especially in regards to how government regulations are affecting cryptocurrency projects.
